Markets in the neighbourhood

Parliament Hill Farmers’ Market

Parliament Hill opened in September 2008, and has gone from strength to strength. It has one of the most scenic locations of all our markets, just on the edge of Hampstead Heath, with hungry joggers and dog-walkers blending in with the die-hard customers doing their weekly shop. Look out for fresh dairy produce from Alham Wood & the outstanding display of produce from three of Lincolnshire’s top vegetable growers – Eden Farms, Manor Farm and Ted’s Veg. You’ll also find fresh fish from the Dorset coast, free range poultry from Fosse Meadows, rare breed meat from Old Hall farm,  biodynamic eggs and fruit, artisan bread, game in season and much more

Tufnell Park Food Market

Where else can you buy your groceries and enjoy an ale by the fire?
We endeavour to supply good seasonal, well sourced food and offer the local community a quality food market to enjoy. Created to compliment our ethos of sourcing quality produce we have invited producers to sell their yield at the Tufnell Park Tavern every Saturday between 11am & 3pm.
We hope to build a viable and sustainable independent market rooted in the local community. This means you can get involved. By either taking a stall or simply buying some goods.
Kate O’Sullivan is the market manager and faces the daunting task of coordinating the stalls. (She can be contacted via the pub)

NEW: Brecknock Road Market

Welcome to the Brecknock Food & Craft Market

This friendly vibrant market offers a fantastic variety of food and craft stalls.
All products available to purchase at the market are of very high quality, be it home grown, organic, fair trade or homemade.

We allow some traders to import certain goods, this enables us to offer you the customer a wide variety of goods and cater for everyone’s needs.

We believe it is truly important that a market represents its community and that is why we encourage our customers to put forward any ideas they have for the market and where possible we implement them.

Brecknock Market is not classed as a farmers market; we want to be more than just a farmers market providing a more unique and exciting shopping experience. We hope to encourage a relationship between urban and country lifestyle and would like to give anyone who has a real talent the chance to showcase their skills.

Brecknock Market is something of an innovation; it offers traders, customers, local residents and parents from the school a chance to get involved and create something special

Fibre Broadband arrives in St George’s Avenue

I just thought people might like to know that fibre broadband is finally available in the road.

For some reason BT simply refused to make the connections, and I’ve been given uncountable excuses about why it couldn’t be done, including a story that Islington had refused to allow it – which Tracy checked and found to be nonsense.  In the end, I got it escalated to the High Level dispute team, and within a week the blockage was cleared and our line was installed yesterday.
